The members of this community are truly inspiring. When a call for help was placed, you responded and we hit our goal of $6000 within 90 minutes. We certainly hope that if another member of the community ever needed it, you’d respond the same way. And that’s part of the reason, having met our goal of $6000, we’re electing to shut down the fund.

We arrived at the amount of 6k based on an educated guess of what would help him with living expenses over the next few months and some medical bills. If we discover there is a great need for further fundraising, we will certainly open the fund back up, but at the moment, we feel its irresponsible to raise money without knowing what’s really needed. The money we’ve raised (about $6500) will go a VERY long way towards helping Ptah get himself back on track and alleviate stress of providing for himself during this time.

The money in the account, totaling $6,100.60 (the total amount of donations minus fees) was transferred to Ptah’s account this morning.The receipt below is provided for transparency.  Please feel free to continue to comment and Ptah will surely receive those comments. Thank you, all, again.
